Pat Newton not only straight rips on his Snowboard, but he also creates some amazing style as well out there on the hill! He has had a unique path into the sport, and his journey has taken him to many amazing places. We get into everything from his later start into Snowboarding, to his time at Mount Hood, as well as his time spent surfing in Hawaii! This man has a genuine soul and is a deep thinker. He shares a passion for Mount Hood that is hard to describe unless you yourself have been there to experience it. When we say buckle in everyone, we really mean it for this episode of LTS! We are insanely stoked to have Chuck Schmidt aka "The Crocodile" joining us for this week's episode! Chuck grew up right here in Hayden, Idaho. He has lived life to the fullest, with a don't give an F attitude and the skills and experience to back it up! He is a crazy talented snowboarder, spending time in Mammoth, California when it was the straight mecca of the sport. He met many different riders along the way, all who will say just how sick this man is! That is not all though he reps North Idaho to his bones and has been a part of the community here for many years. We get into everything from some of his crazy injuries to his life as a social media pioneer and his relationships with certain celebrities. That is not all though, Chuck ran Lookout Pass Terrain Parks for years and brought his creativity and rule breaking style with him. Ask anyone, he was transformative for Lookout during his time there! We will not give too much more away on this one, it really was one for the books and just a wild ride with the man, the myth, the legend, Chuck Schmidt!

CALEB GUERBER | LET'S TALK SNOWBOARDING EPISODE 50

Just kidding, he has always been a driven person whether it was Snowboarding with his friends and brothers or competing at a very high level in Sports, especially Baseball. Let's just say that Owen Hedgecock is a two-plank style god! The dude drips swag on skis and really in everyday life. Whatever Owen is doing from working as a lifty at Schweitzer to swerving in his sick Audi you will know when you meet the homie that he has that dawg in him! Owen grew up splitting his time between Sandpoint and the Lake Tahoe area. It is hard to believe that he has only been skiing regularly for a handful of years with how crazy his progression and bag of tricks have evolved. The dude works extremely hard year-round to live out his dream of becoming a pro skier in the future and with how things are going it is only a matter of time! If you ever get the chance to meet this legend you will understand just what a good dude he is! BRAD COMPTON | LET'S TALK SNOWBOARDING EPISODE 47

A man of the people! That's the phrase we would use to describe this week's guest on Let's Talk Snowboarding! Brad Compton grew up in Davenport, Washington and during these years he would make the trip to our all of our local mountains not yet knowing what a huge impact he would have on the Snowboarding Community of North Idaho and Eastern Washington. He made his way to Spokane, through Post Falls and now resides in Rathdrum. The man has been all over our region, whether it be as a lineman for Avista or working with the Ski Shack Team and traveling to many of the ski swaps across the Pacific Northwest. Brad Compton is a straight legend, and we get into everything from his recent backcountry Heli trip in Alaska to what he has built with the Ski Shack Team fundraising and providing gear and knowledge of Snowboarding to countless youth groups here in our community! Sitting down and chatting with Brad was an absolute honor! We appreciate each and every one of the listeners for tuning and hope you enjoy the episode!

KYA ALDERMAN | LET'S TALK SNOWBOARDING EPISODE 46

Kya Alderman is a rising star in the Snowboarding world! She had humble beginnings, growing up near Naples, Idaho and now residing in Bonners Ferry. Kya is a humble, hardworking, dedicated snowboarder through and through. Her progression in the sport has been other worldly. Last season she took home the Doug E Fresh top spot in her age group and the top time in the competition! She continues to stand atop Bank Slalom podiums throughout the region. She is a top rider for the Snowboard Northwest Team at Schweitzer and a regular up on the mountain! You may see her blazing past you on a groomer or slashing some pow on a gnarly run. STEFFEN ROBLES | LET'S TALK SNOWBOARDING EPISODE 45

If you could define a Snowboarder's Snowboarder, Steffen Robles personifies exactly that! He has the style, swag, and fundamentals that make him an all-around weapon on the board. Steff grew up in San Diego, California until his early teen years. His family made the decision to move to Bonners Ferry as many of us do to this region we call home for a slower pace of life and family values. He played soccer at a high level in high school as he adjusted to a different lifestyle from the city to the country here in North Idaho. Steff found Snowboarding during high school as well and really dived into the sport and lifestyle as he progressed into post high school life. Steff is now a staple at Schweitzer, from working as a lift operator at the T Bar to sending every side hit and drop the mountain has to offer, Steff is such a sick Snowboarder. Not only is he a ripping boarder in the Winter, in the summer he works for the Panhandle Bike Ranch as a trail builder. At PBR he is building something special for the bike community here locally and we dive heavily into his passion and role in the Mountain Bike scene here in our region. We at LTS have wanted to chat with Steff on the podcast for years. To say we are stoked to have him on the podcast would be the understatement of the decade! Make sure you tune in for this one! CHAD RILEY | LET'S TALK SNOWBOARDING EPISODE 44

Growing up on the west side of the Sierra near Fresno, California, Chad Riley first snowboarded at a little resort many of you may have never heard of China Peak. From there his passion for the sport grew and took him to Tahoe where he chased the dream of being a Pro. It would be his talent and passion for photography that would propel him to travel the world and be ingrained heavily in Snowboarding. Not only would he excel as a Snowboard photographer, he also would shoot incredible photos for many fashion designers all across the globe and be sought after by those companies to this day! Don't get it twisted though, his passion for Snowboarding has not wavered and he still has the itch to get behind the lens and capture a sick photo or film an epic clip, as well as lay down some epic turns for himself on a pow day. Whether it be from New York to San Francisco to Baldface Lodge, Chad Riley is global in Photography and in Snowboarding. We also discuss his time here locally in Couer D Alene and his most important job of all, being a Dad! To say we are stoked to have chad on the podcast would be a massive understatement!
