Ke'ahi Robles aka KMAX is a true sender! You can count on Ke'ahi sending the biggest cliff drop, park jumps, and crispy faces on the mountain, hands down! If you know the family that he comes from, it all makes sense that he is a talented, humble, true ripper. In our opinion he is a highly underrated Snowboarder that cranks it to the max! It was so sick to sit down with this legend and catch up on what is currently going on in his life and what he is stoked on these days! Pat Newton not only straight rips on his Snowboard, but he also creates some amazing style as well out there on the hill! He has had a unique path into the sport, and his journey has taken him to many amazing places. We get into everything from his later start into Snowboarding, to his time at Mount Hood, as well as his time spent surfing in Hawaii! This man has a genuine soul and is a deep thinker. He shares a passion for Mount Hood that is hard to describe unless you yourself have been there to experience it. Needless to say, we are big fans of Pat here at LTS and want to thank him for his perspective and time spent on the podcast! We are launching a new series at Let's Talk Snowboarding! Vibe Check will be a shorter form conversation over video call with heavy hitters, former guests, and everyone in between. We are going to keep these right around a half hour and will be checking in with all kinds of across the world! For our inaugural episode we have a familiar face, Lucas Foster! We check in with him about X Games, the Olympic grind, and what it has been like transitioning from previous sponsors to new! When we say buckle in everyone, we really mean it for this episode of LTS! We are insanely stoked to have Chuck Schmidt aka "The Crocodile" joining us for this week's episode! Chuck grew up right here in Hayden, Idaho. He has lived life to the fullest, with a don't give an F attitude and the skills and experience to back it up! He is a crazy talented snowboarder, spending time in Mammoth, California when it was the straight mecca of the sport. He met many different riders along the way, all who will say just how sick this man is! That is not all though he reps North Idaho to his bones and has been a part of the community here for many years. We get into everything from some of his crazy injuries to his life as a social media pioneer and his relationships with certain celebrities. That is not all though, Chuck ran Lookout Pass Terrain Parks for years and brought his creativity and rule breaking style with him. Ask anyone, he was transformative for Lookout during his time there! We will not give too much more away on this one, it really was one for the books and just a wild ride with the man, the myth, the legend, Chuck Schmidt!

So stoked to bring you all Episode 50 of Let's Talk Snowboarding! Caleb Guerber is a real one! Caleb grew up terrorizing the streets of Rathdrum and Twin Lakes Village. Just kidding, he has always been a driven person whether it was Snowboarding with his friends and brothers or competing at a very high level in Sports, especially Baseball. Caleb seems to tackle life with an edge and discipline that is distinctly himself! It is hard not to have met someone in our community that does not know Caleb or knows someone who he is homies with. He is definitely one of one in our books, and we feel so stoked he sat down with us to have this all-time conversation! Buckle up everyone because you are in store for a wild banter ride in this week's episode! Our guest is none other than the one and only Dash Kamp! You would be hard pressed to find someone in the Snowboard World who does not know of Dash. A true legend in our community to the core, Dash has been shredding and inspiring since a young age. We get into everything from working at 7B Boardshop at a young age and what that relationship has meant to him throughout the years to his time spent in Lake Tahoe pursuing the dream of being a pro! We are going to keep the description short on this one so as to not give too much away! Dash is truly one of the coolest dudes we have had the privilege of chatting with on the podcast! Let's just say that Owen Hedgecock is a two-plank style god! The dude drips swag on skis and really in everyday life. Whatever Owen is doing from working as a lifty at Schweitzer to swerving in his sick Audi you will know when you meet the homie that he has that dawg in him! Owen grew up splitting his time between Sandpoint and the Lake Tahoe area. It is hard to believe that he has only been skiing regularly for a handful of years with how crazy his progression and bag of tricks have evolved. The dude works extremely hard year-round to live out his dream of becoming a pro skier in the future and with how things are going it is only a matter of time! If you ever get the chance to meet this legend you will understand just what a good dude he is! A man of the people! That's the phrase we would use to describe this week's guest on Let's Talk Snowboarding! Brad Compton grew up in Davenport, Washington and during these years he would make the trip to our all of our local mountains not yet knowing what a huge impact he would have on the Snowboarding Community of North Idaho and Eastern Washington. He made his way to Spokane, through Post Falls and now resides in Rathdrum. The man has been all over our region, whether it be as a lineman for Avista or working with the Ski Shack Team and traveling to many of the ski swaps across the Pacific Northwest. Brad Compton is a straight legend, and we get into everything from his recent backcountry Heli trip in Alaska to what he has built with the Ski Shack Team fundraising and providing gear and knowledge of Snowboarding to countless youth groups here in our community! Sitting down and chatting with Brad was an absolute honor! We appreciate each and every one of the listeners for tuning and hope you enjoy the episode!

Kya Alderman is a rising star in the Snowboarding world! She had humble beginnings, growing up near Naples, Idaho and now residing in Bonners Ferry. Kya is a humble, hardworking, dedicated snowboarder through and through. Her progression in the sport has been other worldly. Last season she took home the Doug E Fresh top spot in her age group and the top time in the competition! She continues to stand atop Bank Slalom podiums throughout the region. She is a top rider for the Snowboard Northwest Team at Schweitzer and a regular up on the mountain! You may see her blazing past you on a groomer or slashing some pow on a gnarly run.
